The Mount Vernon Youth Bureau is a municipal Youth Service Agency, whose primary concern is to represent and serve the needs, interests and welfare of children and young adults in the city of Mount Vernon.   The agency acts as a facilitator in order to coordinate services, identifying needs and develop relevant programs for the youth in the city of Mount Vernon.
The mission of the Mount Vernon Youth Bureau is to prevent delinquency through positive youth development.  We hope to increase public awareness and interest in youth related issues and to provide information for an ever changing workplace.  One of our main goals is to help plan and implement quality programs in addition to researching funding sources and writing proposals for new innovative programs that appeal to young people.
